The map to discover contemporary architecture in Venice

The new publication of Blue Crow Media collects the projects carried out from the Thirties to today by the great international designers.

Best known for the masterpieces of the past of which it is rich, from the ancient noble palaces to the mosaics of San Marco, Venice also houses some extraordinary projects of modernist and contemporary architecture.

Curated by two Italian historians of architecture, Marco Mulazzani and Elisa Pegorin, and enriched by the shots of the photographer Alessandra Chemollo, this Modern Venice Map invites you to look at the city with different eyes, offering a glimpse of the works of the great protagonists of international architecture: from Carlo Scarpa – born in Venice on 2 June 1906 – to Santiago Calatrava, passing through Ignazio Gardella, Cino Zucchi, Alvar Aalto, Tadao Ando, MAP studio, David Chipperfield, Rem Koolhaas and others.
