Biography
When I paint it seems like the images arise from deep inside so as to appear magically in the painting. The movement of my hands seems to hasten my thoughts, the vital energy becomes material. Painting enables me embody my mind, my imagination, my ghosts. As my work develops, it becomes more intentional, looking for the harmony between colours and forms. My exploration often moves between figuration and abstraction.
Like an alchymist I love combining colours, materials and techniques. Quick brush strokes, drips, shadings, overlappings, emptiness, overflowings, light, oil, acrylic, pastels, water, canvas, expression, emotion, sense of freedom. To me painting is a sensory and spiritual journey.
